Frequently asked questions
Answers for teams thinking about Pawssier. Pet parents can find help in the Pawssier Hub.
About Pawssier
Pawssier is software that reads pet paperwork in any format and turns it into one clear record. Your team or your product gets the same record as structured data through a secure API.
Pet software teams (vet systems, insurers and booking platforms), pet businesses (vets, groomers, boarding, daycare and insurers), and pet parents, shelters and rescues through the free Pawssier Hub.
Records
Pretty much any pet record, in any format! Pawssier reads vet visit notes, vaccination certificates, lab reports, prescription labels, discharge summaries, invoices and receipts, microchip registrations, insurance documents, and boarding, daycare or grooming records. They can come in as PDFs, scans, faxes, phone photos or handwritten notes, and they don’t have to be in English.
One record per pet with vaccines, reminders, medications, visits, weights and lab results, plus what needs attention, like an overdue booster, and each item links to the page it came from.
Yes. See the demo to walk through a real set of sample records for a dog named Biscuit, with the record and the API response side by side.
Integration
You send records to our API and get structured data back. The full API reference is on this page, and we'll set you up with API keys when you join.
Security and data
Everything is encrypted in transit and at rest. We’ve built Pawssier with security in mind from the start, and we never train our AI on customer records.
You do. Pet owners and partner platforms keep ownership of their data, and we only use it to give you back structured records.
No. Pawssier never trains its AI on customer records.
Pet parents
Yes! Pet parents, shelters and rescues can use the free Pawssier Hub to keep all of a pet’s records in one place and fill out intake forms faster.
Want to see what Pawssier finds in your records?
Records arrive from hundreds of different systems, and none of them can read each other’s. Pawssier reads them all and shows you what’s worth another look.
